  • Carbon Offset Program: For every international client, we calculate the carbon emissions from their round-trip flights to Bali. We then purchase certified carbon credits from the Rimba Raya Biodiversity Reserve project in Borneo, one of the world’s largest REDD+ projects, which protects high-conservation-value tropical peat swamp forests.
  • Reducing Clinical Waste: A key criterion in our clinic vetting process is the adoption of sustainable practices. We prioritize partners who utilize digital dentistry (e.g., intraoral scanners to eliminate plastic impression trays) and have certified, compliant medical waste disposal systems that adhere to the standards of the Indonesian Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK).
  • Plastic-Free Operations: Our on-the-ground concierge services are proudly single-use plastic-free. Patient welcome kits include reusable water bottles and locally made tote bags. We also preferentially partner with hotels that have received third-party verification for their efforts to eliminate single-use plastics.

Community Empowerment & Social Impact

Our business is fundamentally about people, and that includes the local Balinese community.

  • Local Employment & Fair Wages: We are committed to providing high-quality local employment. Over 95% of our non-clinical team are Indonesian nationals, and we prioritize hiring from local communities in Denpasar, Sanur, and Canggu. All employees receive above-award wages, professional development opportunities, and full social security (BPJS Ketenagakerjaan) and health insurance (BPJS Kesehatan) benefits.
  • Supporting Local Enterprises: We exclusively partner with locally owned and operated businesses for our ground services, including our private drivers, tour guides, and produce suppliers for our catered villa services. This ensures that the economic benefits of your visit are distributed directly into the local economy.
  • Direct Community Health Contributions: We are proud corporate sponsors of the Yayasan Senyum Bali (Smile Foundation of Bali). A percentage of our annual profit is donated to support their incredible work providing free corrective surgery for children with cleft lip and palate and other craniofacial deformities across Indonesia.
